Ann Arbor Employees’ Commits $4M to Private Equity; Terminates High Yield Bond Manager

The Ann Arbor Employees’ Retirement System has made a $4 million commitment to Aberdeen U.S. Private Equity Fund X. 

Investment consultant for the Retirement System, Meketa, assisted with the recommendation.

Also disclosed in meeting minutes from the November 17 board meeting was the termination of Sky Harbor Broad High Yield Bonds. Proceeds from the termination are expected to amount to approximately $4.6 million. The Board previously approved an asset allocation policy which reduced the policy target to high yield bonds to 0%.
