Written by: Helen Bascom, Marketing Associate

The Illinois Police Officers Pension Fund (IPOPIF) approved hiring three investment managers and an updated structure for their International Small Cap portfolio in their December 4th Board of Trustees meeting.

For Core exposure, they approved allocating $225 million to Acadian All Country World ex-US Small Cap. In growth exposure, $112.5 million will be allocated to Driehaus International Small Cap Growth. And in value exposure, $112.5 million will be allocated to ARGA International Small Cap Equity.

The $9.1 billion pension fund allocates approximately 5% of their holdings to their International Small Cap portfolio.

IPOPIF’s general consultant, Verus, assisted with the recommendation.
