Indiana Public Retirement System Commits $160M to Alts

The Indiana Public Retirement System disclosed three recent commitments in alternatives totaling $160 million, according to materials from their September Investment Board meeting. 

Within Private Equity, $100 million was allocated to New Mountain Strategic Equity II and $50 million was allocated to NM IN Co-Invest II. 

In Real Assets, $10 million was allocated to KKR Project Denali Co-Investment. 

As of June 30, 2023, the $48 billion pension fund has allocated  11.3% to private equity while they target 10% to the asset class. In real assets, they have allocated 8.4% and target 10%.
