Massachusetts PRIM Commits $775M to Alternatives

The Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Trust has made commitments to seven alternative funds totaling up to $775 million.

Other Credit Opportunities

Two investments were made in Massachusetts PRIM’s Other Credit Opportunities asset class. $100 million was allocated to BentallGreenOak US Value-Add Lending Fund. The fund fund will originate loans collateralized by commercial real estate properties. In addition, $150 million was committed to real estate debt fund, KKR Opportunistic Real Estate Credit Fund II.

Private Equity  

Five commitments were made to private equity funds. €100 million was committed to buyout fund, Altor Fund VI. €130 million was committed to Waterland Private Equity Fund IX and €20 million to Waterland Partnership Fund I. $125 million was committed to buyout fund, WestView Capital Partners V. $150 million was committed to Lovell Minnick Equity Partners VI.
