The New York State Teachers’ Retirement System has approved four alternative investments totaling approximately $422.6 million.
£100M (approx. $122.6 USD) was approved for ECI 12, a private equity fund managed by ECI Partners. Also in private equity, $100 million was committed to Cortec Group Fund VIII.
$100 million was committed to the private credit fund, MGG SF Evergreen Fund.
Lastly, $100 million was committed to the FCP Realty Fund VI.
The $131 million Retirement System currently allocates 11.08% to private equity, 1.39% to private debt, and 12.62% to real estate equity. They target 9% to private equity, 2% to private debt, and 11% to real estate equity.
