Alaska Permanent Commits $55M to Private Equity; Review 2024 Commitment Targets

The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation has disclosed a $55 million commitment to Genstar Capital Partners XI. 

According to meeting materials from the May board meeting, the private equity commitment closed in April 2023.

Staff also reviewed the 2024 proposed pacing plans for real estate, private equity, and private income.

$650 million is being targeted to real estate in FY 2024 which is 7% lower than FY 2023.

$1 billion is being targeted to private equity in FY 2024 which is in line with  FY 2023.

Lastly, $1 billion is being targeted to private income in FY 2024 which is 10% lower than FY 2023.
