Baltimore City Fire and Police Retirement System Commits $60M to Real Estate

The Baltimore City Fire and Police Retirement System has awarded a total of  $60 million to real estate, according to minutes from the December 12th Board of Trustees meeting. 

Acore Capital, Elm Tree Capital, and Oak Tree Capital were each selected to manage $20 million.

As of December 31, 2023, the $3.2 billion pension fund allocates 9.4% to real estate while they target 11% to the asset class.
