Chicago Teachers’ Pension Commits $10M to Private Equity

The Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund has approved a $10 million commitment to Farol Asset Management Fund III.

Farol Asset Management is a MWBE firm based out of New York.

General consultant, Callan, assisted with this decision.

As of September 30, 2023, the $11.2 billion Pension Fund has an actual and target allocation to private equity of 9.1% and 5% respectively.
