The Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund reviewed a recommendation to invest $10 million with the Estancia Capital Partners Fund III, according to materials from the June board meeting.

Estancia Capital Partners Fund III will make buyout investments in North American-based lower middle market companies that provide mission critical solutions to the financial services end markets. CTPF previously committed $10 million to ECP Fund II in 2019.

Also at the meeting, staff and Callan reviewed the infrastructure and real estate portfolios and commitment pacing for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

Callan and staff recommend $10M to $30M be committed to infrastructure funds for the 2023-24 fiscal year.

Callan and staff recommend $60M be committed to real estate funds for the 2023-24 fiscal year.
