Contra Costa Employees Retirement Targeting $350M to Private Equity

The Contra Costa Employees Retirement Association has reviewed the private equity commitment pacing for 2024.

From the November 1 board meeting, StepStone recommends committing $350 million to private equity in order to achieve their target allocation of 15% over 10 years. 

CCCERA anticipates 1-2 existing GPs to launch their next fund for re-up opportunities. In addition, CCERA plans to source potentially 2-3 new relationships.

As of September 30, 2023, CCERA allocates 12.4% to private equity.
