Hamilton Lane Recommends $175M to Alternatives for Louisiana TRS

Meeting materials from the Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana July 7 Investment Meeting show three investment recommendations from private markets consultant, Hamilton Lane.

A $50 million investment is planned for middle market buyout fund, Bernard Capital Partners Fund III. $50 million will be invested in direct lending fund Hark Capital IV. $75 million will be committed to large buyout fund, TPG Partners IX.

Hamilton Lane documents show fiscal year 2023 proposed commitment targets of $500-700 million across 6-8 buyout funds and $400-500 million across 2-4 direct lending funds
