Houston Police Commits $40M to Private Credit

The Houston Police Officers’ Pension System has recently made a $40 million commitment to Golub GEMS VI.

HPOPS has previously invested in Golub BDC3, Golub X, and Golub XII private credit strategies. 

As of June 30, 2023, the $7.2 billion pension fund allocates approximately 7% to private credit with a target allocation of 6.5%. The System has investments or commitments to 25 individual private credit partnerships with 15 general partners.
