The State Universities Retirement System of Illinois has named Michael Schlachter as the System’s new CIO, effective November 14, 2023.
Previously, Schlachter acted as the managing director and senior portfolio manager for LA Capital Management and Equity Research.
Schlachter will replace Doug Wesley, who previously announced his retirement effective March 2024.
