Imperial County ERS Commits $40M to Private Equity

The Imperial County Employees Retirement System has approved $40 million across two investments to private equity and private credit, according to minutes from the November 15th Board meeting. 

$10 million was allocated to HarbourVest Global Fund 2023 and $30 million to Sixth Street Diversified Credit Program. 

As of June 30, 2023 the $1 billion pension fund allocates 7.6% to private equity with a target of 8%. The actual and target to private credit was 5.1% and 5% respectively.
