LACERS Commits $50M to Real Estate

The Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System has approved a $50 million commitment to the Oaktree Real Estate Opportunities Fund IX, according to materials from the October board meeting.

The investment closed on September 29, 2023.

Private real estate accounts for 6.03% ($1.3B) of the $22 billion Retirement System.
