Los Angeles Fire & Police Commit $115M to Private Equity Funds

The Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension System has disclosed three private equity commitments totaling up to $115 million, according to meeting materials from the December 15 board meeting. 

$50 million was committed to middle market buyout fund, Windjammer Capital Fund VI. $15 million was committed to venture capital fund, Reach Capital Fund VI. And $50 million was committed to buyout fund, Greenbriar Equity Fund VI.

As of September 30, 2022, the $27 billion pension fund allocates approximately 18% to private equity.
