Los Angeles Fire & Police Commits up to $37.5M to Private Equity

The Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension System has committed up to $37.5 million to two venture capital funds. 

Up to $15 million was committed to Clearhaven Fund II, managed by ClearhavenPartners. In addition, up to $22.5 million was committed to Pelion Venture VIII, managed by Pelion Venture Partners. 

As of March 31, 2023, the nearly $28.9 billion pension fund allocates 17.17% to private equity, while they target 14%.
