Louisiana TRS Retains Two for SMID Cap Search

The $23.2 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana have retained PGIM and William Blair for their SMID Cap Core Equity search.

According to meeting minutes from the January 5 meeting, PGIM and William Blair were retained without interview. The search was initiated due to the upcoming contract expirations of both managers.

Investment consultant, Aon, assisted with the due diligence.

As of September 30, 2022, the market value of the PGIM and William Blair SMID Cap Core accounts were approximately $291 million and $225 million respectively.
