Maryland Retirement Discloses $750M+ in New Investments

The Maryland State Retirement & Pension System has disclosed over $750 million in new investments.
In real estate, $100 million was committed to the MetLife Core Property Fund. Additionally, $100 million was allocated to FPA Core Plus Fund VI.
$100 million was committed to Ares Credit Investment Partnership (MD). Runway Growth received two separate allocations for their private credit funds. $100 million was allocated to Runway Growth Finance, and $50 million to the Runway Growth Finance Opportunities Fund. $75 million was committed to private credit fund, Shamrock Capital Content Fund III. $25 million was committed to Arctos Sports Partners Fund II.
$25 million was also committed to private equity in a Bridgepoint Co-Investment Vehicle.
Within global equities, $88 million was allocated to Channing Global Advisors and $44 million to Promethos Capital.
