Mellon Investment Corporation was selected by the Firefighters’ Retirement System of Louisiana to manage a Russell 1000 Value Index fund.
The $2 billion Retirement System worked closely with consultant NEPC on the search. State Street Global Advisors was also considered.
As of June 30, 2022, the FRS domestic equity composite represented 27.5% of the total plan. The FRS investment policy target allocation for domestic equities is 27%.
