Missouri Local Government Employees’ Retirement Hires Bill Betts as Executive Director

The Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS) has announced Bill Betts as the new Executive Director.

Betts currently serves as the Assist Executive Director, Operations for the Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri, and will replace current director, Robert Wilson.Wilson previously announced his retirement in August of 2022.

Betts begins his new role with the $9.7 billion Retirement System on January 3, 2023.
