New York City ERS Commits $290.7M to Alts

New York City Employees’ Retirement System disclosed fourteen commitments totaling $290.7 million to alternatives, according to materials from the December 20th Board meeting.
In private equity, $69.2 million was committed to Ardian Secondaries Fund IX, $103.8 million to Ardian Secondaries Fund IX NYC Co-Invest, $18 million to New 2ND Capital Fund III, $9 million to New 2ND Capital N Sidecar, $94 million to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice XII, $62.2 million to EQT Future, $62.2 million to EQT Future Co-Invest, $138.5 million to PSG VI, and $21.5 million to Amulet Capital Fund III.
In real estate, $81.9 million was committed to Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VII and $83 million to Rialto Real Estate Fund V.
And in real assets, $162 million was committed to Ardian Infrastructure Fund VI, $24 million to Elite Co-Invest AIV, and $21.7 million to Artemis Co-Invest Sidecar.
As of June 30, 2023, the $80 billion pension fund allocates approximately 20.2%, $16.3 million, to alternatives with a policy target of 19.5%.
