Texas TRS Commits $250M to Real Estate, Private Equity

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has disclosed three commitments totaling $250 million.

The Davis Companies received $200 million in commitments; $100 million to the Davis Investment Fund V Co-Invest Sidecar and $100 million to the Davis Investment Ventures Fund A. 

The value-add real estate funds are managed by The Davis Companies. Fund IV previously closed with $777.5 million.

In addition, $50 million was committed to NEA RP SPV, a private equity fund managed by NEA Associates.
