NY Common Retirement Fund Commits $50M to Private Equity

The New York State Common Retirement Fund approved a commitment to private equity. 

$50 million was allocated to Hamilton Lane New York Small Business Investment Company Fund II, according to their November 7th press release. 

The fund will provide credit and equity investments to small businesses across various industries that are based in New York.
