NY State Common Commits $2.7B to Alts

The New York State Common Retirement Fund has disclosed 10 new investments totaling up to $2.7 billion.

In private equity, $15 million was committed to Armory Square Ventures III. $25 million was committed to Insigh Vision Capital II. $150 million was committed to TowerBrook Investors VI. $50 million was committed to TowerBrook Empire Opportunities, which will invest in co-investment opportunities alongside TowerBrook Investors VI. Additionally, $1 billion was allocated to Khosla Ventures Excelsior, “an evergreen fund investing parallel to Khosla Ventures’ flagship funds over multiple vintages”.

In private credit, $300 million was committed to Golub Sapphire Fund and $200 million to the Golub Emerald Fund. Both are separately managed accounts managed by Golub Capital targeting opportunistic investments.

Value-add real estate fund, Waterton Residential Property Venture XV was awarded a $300 million investment.

Two infrastructure funds received allocations. $450 million was allocated to EQT Infrastructure VI and $250 million was committed to Antin Infrastructure Partners V.
