The Teachers’ Retirement System of Oklahoma is preparing an international equity manager search.
A review of the current international equities revealed a small cap bias and an active manager line-up that has not added value over most time periods. Investment consultant, Aon, prefers broad international equity mandates as opposed to a style-box approach.
The current international equity manager line-up includes NT MSCI ACW ex-U.S. Index Fund, Causeway International Opportunities, Wellington International Quality Growth, Wasatch International Small Cap, SSGA Emerging Markets Small Cap.
The board approved issuing an invitation to bid at the January 25 board meeting.
Aon will assist with the search.
