Pennsylvania PSERS Commits $200M to Private Equity

The Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System has approved two commitments to private equity totalling $200 million according to meeting notes from the December 15th board meeting. 

An investment of $100 million was made to Clearlake Capital Partners VIII. An additional investment of $100 million was allocated to OceanSound Partners Fund II. 

Aksia assisted with both investment decisions.

As of March 31, 2023, the $75 billion Retirement Fund allocates 17.2% to private equity.
