San Antonio Fire and Police Pension Commits $25M to Private Equity

The San Antonio Fire and Police Pension Fund has made a $25 million re-up commitment to Apollo Investment Fund X, according to recently released meeting minutes from the August 24 board meeting.

The Pension Fund has previously invested in Fund IV, and VI through IX. Fund X will invest in opportunistic buyouts, corporate carve-outs, and distressed investments.

As of December 31, 2021, the Pension Fund has an actual and target allocation to private equity of 7.4% and 7% respectively.
