San Francisco ERS Commits $70M to Real Estate

The San Francisco Employees Retirement System approved the commitment of $70 million to real estate, according to materials from their November 8th board meeting. 

The investment was made to Alterra IOS Venture III, and is classified as a real estate investment within the Real Assets portfolio.

The $34.5 billion fund has a current and target allocation to real assets of 16% and 10% respectively.
