Santa Barbara Commits $45M to Private Equity, Real Assets

The Santa Barbara County Employees’ Retirement System has disclosed four investments totaling $45 million.

In private equity, $10 million was allocated to NewView Capital Fund III, a growth equity fund managed by NewView Capital. $10 million was allocated to GTCR Fund XIV, a large buyout fund managed by GTCR. $10 million was also allocated to STG VII, a buyout fund managed by Symphony Technology Group (STG). 

In addition, $15 million was committed to EQT Infrastructure VI, a infrastructure fund managed by EQT Group.

As of Dec 31, 2022, the public pension fund's total market value was approximately $3.9 billion.
