School Employees’ Retirement System of Ohio Commits $50M to Private Equity; Approves New Target Allocations for Private and Global Equities.

The School Employees' Retirement System of Ohio has committed $50 million to Private Equity and approved a new target asset allocation mix according to materials from the October investment board meeting. 

Within Private Equity, $50 million was allocated to FS Equity Partners IX.

The new target asset allocation mix decreases the global equities target by 2% and increases the private equity target by 2%.

New Target Allocation Mix:

  • Private Equity: 14% (+2%)
  • Global Equities: 40% (-2%)
