Texas County Commits $120M to Private Equity

The Texas County & District Retirement & System has disclosed two private equity investments totaling up to $120 million.

$80 million was committed to TA XV-A, managed by TA Associates. 

$40 million was allocated to venture capital fund, Lux Ventures VIII, managed by Lux Capital.

The $41.7 billion Retirement System targets 25% to private equity while they currently allocate approximately 27.8% to the asset class.
