Texas County Retirement Commits $265M to Private Equity

The Texas County & District Retirement System has disclosed three private equity investments totaling up to $265 million.

$75 million was committed to buyout fund GTCR Fund XIV A&B. $115 million was committed to Accel-KKR Capital partners VII. Accel-KKR Emerging Buyout Partners II also received a $75 million commitment.

As of September 30, 2022, the $40.3 billion Retirement System targets a $25% private equity allocation and currently allocates approximately 28% to the asset class.
