Texas TRS Commits to Real Assets, Private Equity

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has approved six commitments to real assets and private equity totalling $265 million according to meeting notes from the November board meeting. 

In real assets, $175 million was allocated to EQT Infrastructure VI. 

In private equity, Texas TRS committed to four General Catalyst private equity funds:

  • General Catalyst XII Creation - $16.25M
  • General Catalyst XII Endurance - $24.37M
  • General Catalyst XII Health Assurance - $8.125M
  • General Catalyst XII Ignition - $16.25M

Also in private equity, $25 million was committed to the Thoma Bravo Project Phoenix Co-Invest fund.
