Ventura County Targeting $200M to Private Equity

Discussed at the March 25 board meeting, Ventura County Employees’ Retirement Association unanimously approved the 2024 Private Equity Commitment Pacing Plan.

The Plan includes a commitment target of $200 million to private equity in 2024. 

Abbott Capital Management presented the 2024 Private Equity Commitment Pacing Plan. 

As of December 31, 2023, the VCERA had a market value of $7.9 billion with an actual and target allocation to private equity of 17.7% and 18.0% respectively.
