The Wichita Retirement Systems is planning to commit $25 million to Timber in 2024, according to minutes from the November 2 board meeting.

WRS currently allocates 6.5% to Timber with a target allocation of 5% target and a range of 3%-7%.

Molpus is the current timber manager. Wichita has invested in Funds III and IV previously. Discussions will be held to determine if Mopus is the best timber manager for the new allocation.

General consultant, Callan, assisted with the decision.
