Alameda County Allocates $55M to Private Equity

The Alameda County Employees’ Retirement Association (ACERA) has committed $55 million to Audax Private Equity Fund VII.

Audax targets investments in six core industries including business services, consumer, financial services, healthcare, industrial services & technologies, and software & technologies. 

As of March 31, 2022, ACERA has an actual and target allocation to private equity of 8.6% and 11% respectively.

The $11 billion Retirement Association’s consultant, Verus, assisted with the recommendation.
