Chicago FABF Selects Liquid Diversifying Manager

According to meeting minutes from the December 18th board meeting, the Chicago Firemen’s Annuity & Benefit Fund has selected Capital Fund Management as the Liquid Diversifying manager, concluding the search.

$15 million was allocated to Capital Fund Management SA.

Investment consultant, Callan, assisted with the search.

As of September 30, 2023, the nearly $1 billion pension fund allocates 1.9% to liquid diversifying strategies with a target of 3%.
