Colorado Fire & Police Commit $15M to Private Equity

The Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association has approved $15 million commitments to two funds managed by Questa Capital. 

$10 million was approved for venture capital fund, Questa Capital Partners III and $5 million will be allocated to Questa Capital Opportunities II. 

According to meeting materials from the November 3 board meeting, Fund III will have a focus in healthcare services, healthcare information technology, and medical devices. The Opportunities II fund “will invest in follow-on rounds of portfolio companies of its core funds”. 

As of September 2022, Private Capital makes up 22.5% of the $6 billion retirement fund.
