Fairfax County Educational Employees’ Commits $15.5M to Private Equity

The Fairfax County Educational Employees’ Supplementary Retirement System has made a $15.5 million commitment to private equity fund Paine Schwartz Food Chain Fund VI.

The private equity fund managed by Paine Schwartz Partners will invest in businesses providing products and services to the food and agriculture sector.

As of December 31, 2021, the Pension Fund’s actual and target allocation to private equity is 14.2% and 15% respectively.
