Colorado Fire & Police Commit $20M to Private Equity; Hire Overlay Manager

The Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association has approved two private equity investments totaling up to $20 million.

$10 million was allocated to venture capital fund Foundation Capital XI. $10 million was also committed to Alta Partners NextGen Fund IV. 

In addition, Adrian Lee & Partners was hired as a second currency overlay manager to complement Wellington, according to meeting materials from the June Board meeting. Wellington was hired at the previous meeting to oversee FPPA’s existing currency hedging program.
