Colorado Fire & Police Pension Commits $35M to Private Equity, Private Credit

The Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association (FPPA) disclosed two commitments totaling $35 million at the July 27th board meeting. 

Within private equity, $15M was committed to BID Equity Fund III, a buyout fund managed by BID Equity. In private credit, $20M was committed to OSP Value Fund IV, a distressed credit fund managed by O’Brien-Stanley Partners.

As of June 30, 2023, the $6.6 billion Pension allocates 22.7% to Private Capital.
