El Paso Firemen & Policemen’s Pension Commit $26M to Private Equity

The El Paso Firemen & Policemen’s Pension Fund recently committed $26 million in total to two private equity funds. 

$13 million was allocated to private equity Ara Fund III, managed by Ara Partners. In addition, $13 million was allocated to the buyout fund Vitruvian Investment Partnership V, managed by Vitruvian Partners. 

As of September 30, 2022, the $1.8 billion pension fund’s actual and target allocation to private equity is 19.2% and 15% respectively.
