Fairfax County Educational Employees’ Commits $44.3M to Alts

Fairfax County Educational Employees’ has disclosed three alternative investments totaling $44.3 million, according to materials from the February board meeting.

$4.3 million was committed to a private equity fund, Vitruvian Investment Partnership 

Opportunistic private credit fund, Silver Point Specialty Credit Fund III was awarded a $24.5 million commitment.

Lastly, Ara Fund III was approved for a $15.5 million commitment. Fund III is a private equity fund focused on decarbonization investment opportunities.
