Houston Firefighters’ Retirement Commits $220M to Private Credit, Infrastructure

The Houston Firefighters’ Relief and Retirement Fund has approved $220 million to be committed across two alternative funds.

$120 million was committed to the Blackstone Private Credit Fund. Additionally, $100 million was committed to the EQT Infrastructure Fund VI, according to meeting minutes from the November 15 investment committee meeting.

As of October 31, 2022, the Retirement Fund had a market value of approximately $4.9 billion.
