Kern County Commits $90M to Alts

The Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association has made three alternative investments totaling up to $90 million.

In private credit, $30 million was allocated to the Silver Point Specialty Credit Fund III and $30 million was committed to the Ares Pathfinder II Fund.

Another $30 million was committed to Hudson Bay Special Opportunities Fund, an opportunistic fund managed by Hudson Bay Capital Management.
