LACERS Hosts Fall Emerging Manager Symposium November 16

Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System hosts their Fall Emerging Manager Symposium on November 16, 2022. 

The event will be held virtually from 10am to 11:30am PT. 

Confirmed speakers include LACERS CIO, Rod June, LACERS Director of Private Markets, Wilkin LY, Managing Director at GCM Grosvenor, Renae Griffin, Partner at NEPC, Carolyn Smith, Managing Director at Aksia, Jeff Goldberger,  Associate Partner at Townsend, Felix Fels, and more from LACERS Board.

The Symposium will cover what to emphasize in meetings with LACERS and their consultants, criteria for evaluating emerging managers, and steps managers need to meet institutional investor standards.

According to their website, “LACERS’ Emerging Manager Program has directly led to over $500 million allocated or committed to more than 20 managers.”
