The Firefighters’ Retirement System of Louisiana has hired Mellon for a MSCI Emerging Markets Index search.
According to meeting minutes from the November 10 board meeting, three other firms were considered for the search. Other candidates included BlackRock, Northern Trust, and State Street Global Advisors.
The Retirement System’s consultant, NEPC, assisted with the search.
