Louisiana TRS Commits $150M to Private Equity, Real Assets

The Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana has approved two commitments to private equity and real assets totalling $150 million at their January 5th board meeting.

In private equity, $100 million was allocated to Sterling Group Partners VI. 

In real assets, $50 million was allocated to Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund V. 

Investment consultant, Hamilton Lane assisted.

As of November 11, 2023, the $24 billion Retirement Fund allocates 23% to private equity and has a target allocation of 19%. The Fund also allocates 12% to real assets with a target of 15%.
