Louisiana TRS Commits $275M to Real Estate

The Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana has approved three commitments to real estate totalling $275 million.

$150 million was allocated to Brookfield Strategic Real Estate Partners V and $75 million was allocated to Bain Capital Real Estate Fund III. Additionally, $50 million was allocated to Cabot Industrial Value Fund VII. 

As of October 31, 2023, the $24 billion Retirement Fund has an actual and target allocation to real estate of 12% and 15% respectively.
